The XVIII conference organized for SISMeR, titled “The smallest theater in the world: the uterus”, stood out as a key moment in the field of Reproductive Medicine, attracting the attention of the world’s leading experts. In this edition, I’Meetaly selected the extraordinary Teatro Caporali in Panicale, Perugia, as the venue, a place that, by size and charm, ranks among the smallest and most picturesque theaters in the world.
In the heart of Umbria, the theater becomes not just a physical space but a powerful symbol of the intimacy and depth of the themes discussed. Here, where every corner breathes history and culture, the dialogue between science and humanity has taken on a new dimension, bringing audience and speakers closer together in an intimate, unique, and engaging atmosphere.
Concluding the scientific sessions, a moment of theater and reflection with Eleonora Marchiori, who, through her interpretation of excerpts from “The Vagina Monologues” by Eve Ensler, delved with sensitivity and depth into the fundamental aspects of being human, further enriching the conference experience.
This meeting of worlds, that of advanced science and artistic expression, in a theater that challenges the conventions of space and audience, left an indelible mark, demonstrating how knowledge and art can merge to illuminate and celebrate the complex facets of human life.
